learning c and c++, and i want to be upfront about my level: bad. not modest-bad. actually bad. i have segfaulted things that i genuinely believed could not segfault.

my current relationship with pointers is best described as unresolved. malloc and i are not on speaking terms. every so often something compiles on the first try and i sit very still, afraid to touch anything.

but i’m enjoying it more than almost anything else i do, and i’d rather be cheerfully terrible at something hard than comfortable and bored. if you’re also early and also flailing, come flail next to me — it’s much better with company.

i will not be helping you debug anything. we can be confused together though.
